I've been searching around the internet and have gotten different responses to this question. I've seen posts from people who have claimed to have gotten their Axiom controllers to work with FL studio (the pads, encoders, transport, everything), then I see people who can only get the keyboard working.
As far as I've heard, you have to use a preset for another controller in FL, then type in some random combination on the controller/use Enigma to program it.
So, just throwing this question out there - will it be worth it buying an M-Audio Axiom 25/49 if I use FL Studio 10, and is there a different process for getting it to work if it's the old Axiom, or the newer one?

Axiom AIR 49 is a performance powerhouse, able to capture your excitement and deliver it with expression. The synth-action keys are swift and responsive, reacting to both initial velocity and aftertouch. Octave/Transpose buttons provide access to the entire note range, in any key. Enigma software needs better documentation. Axiom documentation a little lacking for a beginner. Installation is a severe pain. DO NOT DISABLE THE INSTALLER SERVICE AFTER IT'S INSTALLED! Also, the documentation says to turn on the axiom after the drivers are installed. Don't do that, turn it on THEN install or your computer won't recognize it. Because the Axiom 49 (1st Generation) DOES NOT have Direct Link technology, it comes with companion Enigma interface software that allows you to assign and export/import settings to/from the knobs, buttons, pads, sliders, keys, and wheels as a way to efficiently allocate functions to those features.
